About Us

The ILE Music Scholarship Fund was established to make available to students an Instrumental Lifelong Experience through summer music camp opportunities.

The Irma Louise English (ILE) Music Scholarship Fund was formed to honor a lifelong Branch County resident who was passionate about life. One of Irma’s strongest passions was music, which was evident by the encouragement she gave to her children who participated in various musical activities. Scholarships awarded to Irma’s children to attend summer music camp were one of the positives of those activities.

If you, or someone you know, were fortunate enough to have attended summer music camp, it is probably still a vivid memory as if it were just last summer.

It was truly an Instrumental Lifelong Experience!

A goal of the ILE Music Scholarship Fund is to offer students in Branch County that same opportunity – an instrumental lifelong experience. To ensure sending as many students as possible to music camp, the ILE Music Scholarship Fund is co‑sponsoring various event celebrations.
